Cucumbers are a great summertime snack or side dish. Lucky for me they grow like wild fire in the garden. I always have too many cucumbers. I like to soak them in rice vinegar and a little sugar. There is no recipe. I'm a dumper. Little bit of this, little bit of that. Rice vinegar organic sugar cucumbers thinly sliced water Store covered overnight in fridge. Sure you can add onions, green peppers, red pepper flakes and so on. This is just what I do. Did you know: Cucumbers are 90% water which makes them super hydrating and also nutrient dense. You can eat more with out adding a ton of calories. Besides all that water helps flush out toxins. Very good for alkalizing the body. |
